What Annie Offers
Dr. Annie Bosler is a sought after pedagogical teacher, educational consultant, and creative researcher. She specializes in wind pedagogy, specifically teaching facial anatomy and symmetry as it relates to the embouchure, injury rehabilitation, creative ways to educate beginning students, and audition preparation for high school and college students. Annie maintains an active private teaching studio of all ages and levels. In addition, she is the professor of horn at California State University, Northridge, and runs the company College Prep for Musicians™.

Annie has extensive knowledge of anatomy and the physics of sound. She has a unique ability of being able to see how certain muscles in the embouchure are underperforming and strengthen them.

Auditions, competitions, and recitals are a core requirement to any young musician’s growth and journey. Annie will help you plan your schedule and prepare the material.
Annie loves collaborating with composers to create new horn works for beginning students.
She has worked closely with many composers, but one of her favorites is Australian composer Adrian Hallam because he has a fantastic sense of humor and writing style. Works commissioned by Hallam include: The Farm for horn quartet, Fiat Lux for horn quintet, Hollywood for horn quartet and wind ensemble, The Toy Box for woodwind quintet, and Nitro! for 2 horns and piano.
